Job brief:

• Identification of Vendors for procurement and installation of Hardware Equipment for setting up Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
• Cross coordination with internal team to determine the procurement specs (No. of charger and type of chargers) and installation specifications
• Define evaluation criteria for vendor(s) for procurement and installation of Hardware equipment
• Negotiations with vendors on pricing and term & conditions of supply of products and services
• Driving the procurement decision through RFQ and Tendering process
• Assess feasibility of setting up chargers at a location, identify and solve for constraints

Required Experience:

• Identification of Vendors for procurement and installation of Hardware Equipment for setting up Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
• Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain management and material management.
• B.Tech with Electrical/ electronic & MBA in SCM.
• Experience in CPO (charging point operator) industry is must.
• Experience and understanding of inventory management for minimum capital binding Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management - Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• A mature leader and team player, willing to fill in as needed and able to inspire team to go the extra mile

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for an electrical engineer who will help us handling the sites with respect to our electrical products, systems, and applications at different sites.

• On a daily basis, you’ll carry out various engineering tasks, such as performing calculations to ensure our systems meet the global safety standards and collaborating with technicians to solve emerging issues.
• Ultimately, you will improve EV Stations layout and processes and contribute to its growth.
• You should be reliable, detail-orientated electrical project engineer to join our team.
• Your responsibilities include reviewing all engineering design plans, performing complex calculations, designing and constructing electrical systems and their components, liaising with other engineers, and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• You should be able to stick to the allocated budget and build reliable, quality electrical systems.
• Formulate realistic parameters for each project, including design elements and implementation procedures
• Establish the methods by which all field tests are administered and develop various ways to monitor the quality of those tests

Required Skills:

• Design, control, and implement electrical systems and our EV Station products & Panels.
• Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards and implementing them with the highest safety measures.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Manage electrical engineering projects (Site Installation) and deliver them on time
• Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
• Develop the specifications for all equipment that is required for each project
• Perform quality and performance analysis on the working of the site installation of the EV Chargers etc.
• Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets
• Wiring layout plans, panel embedment, designing the installation work order and at site as well
• A prior DISCOM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop EV station designs for new stations and remodels with a creative and problem-solving approach while adhering to brand standards.
• Work collaboratively with internal management and 3rd party vendors to achieve best practices and standardization across the brands
• Manage the company’s corporate prototype designs through the 3rd party architect and engineer ensuring XYZ’s design standards are met with an overall focus on reducing construction costs
• Create schematic layouts and elevations in CAD for new station and current station remodels and renovations
• Work with external partners including but not limited to Architects, Engineers, Sign Manufactures and Installers, Fixture Contractors, and other applicable vendors to bid on projects and assess project costs
• Support the Planning team and Project Directors with timelines, scheduling, budgeting, project documentation, and project delivery
• Generate reports and checklists as directed
• Site visits for as-built measurements and field verification as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design, Project/Construction Management, or a related field
• Two to three years of related professional experience preferred
• Strong ability to work in CAD software required
• 3-D modelling software and/or Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus
• Understanding of construction project management, schedules, project budgeting, and compliance monitoring
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project
• Ability to manage multiple tasks involving complex and varying problems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
